Confederate States of America Grave Marker

A southern “Cross of Honor” marker stands by the graves of veterans of the War Between the States. This one is beside the grave of Thomas Holmes Timmons, who served in the 56th Georgia Regiment of the Confederate Army before being captured and sent to the Johnson’s Island prisoner of war camp in Ohio.
