Helen Frost’s handwritten notes report that Jane Rath Dickie disccovered on her 1998 trip to Scotland that Jean Fulton’s mother was Maria Allison and her father was John Hay of Paulston. However, other sources say that JOhn Hay was Jean Fulton’s husband, which makes sense since Jean’s daughter is named Ann Hay.
