Notes for Margaret Ann Guthrie
Margaret was brought up in Dunedin. In 1893 she was recorded on the first NZ Women's Electoral Roll in the City of Dunedin electorate where she resided at Elder Street and was occupied in "household duties."
Margaret joined her brother Ernest in the United States and was his companion until he died. They travelled widely and made visits to various countries. After Ernest died she returned to New Zealand and lived in Auckland.
