“One can readily see that the lady with your grandmother [in a picture Margery sent] is not my grandmother. Her stature is shorter and she has fair hair. I’d take a stab at identifying her as my Aunt Helen’s mother because there is a resemblance and my Aunt Helen was tiny and fair. There might have been some connection between the Schuster and Kapche (Aunt Helen’s maiden name) families. Just what I don’t know, with the exception that they lived in Chicago. I might be all wet in this assumption, but it gives food for thought.
