“Hugh resided at Lavemill, Dundonald Parish, Ayrshire, Scotland. The 1837 Ayrshire Directory by Pigot & Co. lists under MILLERS - CORN &c: "Andrew, Hugh, Lave mill/ Andrew, James, (flax) Lave mill". Old Parish Records state that "Hugh Andrew, Miller at Lave mill, died at Kilmarnock on the 31 May and was buried at Dundonald on the 4th June 1840."
