“Johan Tobias Geiger divorced Katharine Barbara g. Haug on 7/14/1876; she died seven months later on 2/5/1877. He married Jacobine Caroline Lembeck g. Doh on 2/11/1877 in Feuerbach. Jacobine evidently had been married before with children from her first marriage. Her marriage to Johann brought forth issue, one descendant being Paul Geiger, our benefactor!

Following the birth of her three oldest daughters, Katharine Haug bore three more children, none of whom survived more than a few months. Five years later her husband divorced her; seven months later she died.
