Notes for Wallace Jenkins Andrew
Mom [Jean Frost] and Wally were close friends all their lives, and Wally was a wonderful host to any family members who visited the Prince Edward Island home where he lived all his life. It is the same home where Grandma Viney was born in 1888. Mom often spent summers there in her childhood.

We are all going to miss Granddad a great deal but are most thankful for his long life with us - being at the homestead yesterday without his presence brought reality into focus.

Our daughter, Fiona gave a tribute at the funeral as did Roger and John. It was wonderful that all the children and grandchildren could be there. It was a snowy day - schools were closed- but by afternoon was acceptable for travel. The burial atmosphere was most peaceful and beautiful as the surrounding trees were laden with snow, the wind didn't exist and large snowflakes gently floated downward in the declining light of a grey January mid-afternoon. The picture will be with us forever.

Nannie is getting along fairly well at Whisperwood Villa. She will be moving from the room in the nursing section this week and will be in a suite in the community care section. Her memory continues to decline but she is still very ' with it'. She will be 94 in March.
