Notes for Thomas Alois (Ollie) Buehlman
“Ralph Buehlman and his younger brother Robert were my first cousins, sons of Aunt Jenny and Uncle Ollie.  Ollie Buehlman was the son of Aunt Louisa ( my father’s sister.)  They lived one block away from us in Chicago, on Washtenaw Av. We lived on Fairfield Ave. Ollie worked as a trainman on the Northwestern RR.  My sister worked for the same company as a comtometer operator(whatever that is--like a typewriter, I guess). Aunt Cal also worked for them as a typist in the same office. Five days a week and a half day on Saturday.  Meanwhile. all I did was Sing”

-- Margery Mayer Voutsas, 6 Mar 2008, in an e-mail message to her son Lynn.
[Note: The fact that Ollie Buehlman is the son of Margery’s Aunt Louisa makes him (not his sons) her first cousin.]
