[I] couldn’t get any information out of Dad [Karl Vogt] as he never asked his father about the family in Germany and never was interested when his father read the letters of his sisters and brothers--no doubt they are gone--but he does have a lot of cousins (your 2nd and 3rd cousins) as I also have many in Germany. I get a Xmas card each time and send one to Louise Geiger in Stuttgart, West Germany. She writes veyr little--mostly to Margie who was out there twice while the brother Paul was living. Margie found them to be very loving and generous.
