Notes for Isabella Jane Guthrie
Isabella was known as "Belle" or "Bella." She was brought up in Dunedin and attended OGHS (otaga Girl’s High School) from February 1883 (age 11) until December 1885. Her family was living in Pitt Street at this time. (Ref. OGHS Roll Book 1885-1909). Later, Belle resided at 229 Leith Street, Dunedin and 15 Rastrick Street, Christchurch.
