The 1881 Census records that Annie, James and Bob resided at 14 Princes Street, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland. In 1911, Annie Hay Ferguson lived at 69 Dundonald Road in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire with her husband and son Robert (Bob). In 1917, on leave during World War I, Fred Andrew, son of Francis Andrew, stayed with the Fergusons. Accompanied by Mr. Ferguson and Bob, Fred walked 5 miles to visit Lave Mill, his father's birthplace.
