Obituary notes for Ralph Thomas Buehlman
Buehlman, Ralph Thomas, 80 of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday (June 9, 1998) at Hospice house, Woodside, Pinellas Park.

Born in Chicago, he came here in 1979 from Skokie, Ill. He retired as a licensed radio broadcast engineer after 43 years. He engineered more than 6,000 radio broadcasts of Major League baseball, basketball, hockey, and football.

During World War II he taught radio for the Navy at Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill. He was owner-operator of a radio station, WGSB, in Geneva, Ill. He attended the RCA Technical School, Chicago, and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical workers. He was a lifetime member of the Moose.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Helaine; and a son, Glenn, Glenview, Ill.
