Notes for Ann (”Annie”) Hay
Ann is the sister of Elizabeth Hay who married Adam’s brother William in 1807. Both sisters were from Symington, Ayrshire. Both couples resided at Lavemill. Ann died at Irvine Mills “in the parish 5th January and was buried at Dundonald 9th 1832" (Dundonald OPR). For her monument inscription, refer to the biographical notes on Jean Fulton, her mother.
