Dorothy Forsythe reports a brother Alexander born in 1845. He appears to be the son of John Bell with his first wife Sarah Darrah. (There is some possibility that Sarah, not Hannah, was the mother of Eliabeth as well.)

“In Memory of Francis Andrew Died Oct. 30 1895 Aet. 70. Also his wife Elizabeth Bell Died July 3, 1887 Aet 39. Their son Hugh Allan Died Nov. 6, 1883 Aged 10 mo’s. Also two Infant Children.”
